Percussionist Tom Chapman is a founding member of The Urban Folk Quartet. He has also provided hybrid drum and percussion setups for Jacqui McShee, Greg Russell and Ciaran Algar, Gilmore & Roberts, The Old Dance School and (after JB himself) is the longest serving member of Joe Broughton's Conservatoire Folk Ensemble. Tom has guested with artists including Joss Stone, The Violent Femmes, Cerys Matthews, Fairport Convention, Roby Lakatos, Chris While and Neil Yates. Outside of contemporary folk, Tom is busy drumming with bands on the UK's swing dance scene.

A very small clip from the first 'Sizwe' gig at Pilgrimage last Friday...! Hope to do a lot more with this band in the future... Tom Chapman giving it some on the djembe!
